Luxurious rooms/suites
There are many but, I have seen the rooms of one and only resorts and the interior is so well designed and themed that you simply get wondering around. All the rooms are filled with unique hand crafted accessories to well set the luxury..

6-star and 7-star hotels
There are many seven star hotels I have seen, apart from 4 star or 5 star hotels. The Burj Al Arab in Dubai is the luxurious hotel and Dubai is not the only place, there are some other places also with seven star hotels..

Villa versus Hotel
I have seen many villas and they are actually very good to spend some nice days there. But, hotels are also very good no doubt. But, I personally think that villas are more preferred, if you are on a long holiday with your family so that you can have your own fun.
I have even heard that, villas are affordable to buy at some places..

Is it possible to do luxury on a budget?
I am new to this forum and, I have seen many thoughts here, about luxury living but, in budget and I am completely agree with Paul and Samantha, due to the facts that they had posted like, the offers they run through out season and their packages on which we can negotiate. Low season packages are also good to find out some good deals that can be affordable for us..

INDIA - any consideration for luxury travel???
I travel to India quite frequently on business. Would have stayed at every possible luxury hotel in Delhi and Bangalore.. But now I only stay at the Starwood Luxury Collection properties..One of their new properties called ITC Royal Gardenia is an absolutely refreshing examples of great hospitality. It's luxurious yet not over the top. The hotel is extremely conscious about the environment and they really walk this green talk...

vinotherapy spas

One thing that suprised me is that some of the best spas for this aren't in Austria or France, but right here in the US. One of the most famous in the world in Caudalie Vinotherapie Spa , which opened a new location here at the Plaza in New York..

7 Star Hotels In The World
burj al arab... 7 star Hotel.
This hotel is in a league of its own. I agree that there i not much diff between 4 and 5 star, but to jump straight to 7 stars it has to be something special and the Burj Al Arab is just that....Something Special, You have to see it to believe it.
someone has already stated this hotel is not for your average jo public, it more for those with a big bank balance..

Always research the hotels carefully. Today more than ever, there is a massive amount of information on sites, blogs and forums - so no excuse to get things wrong!!
I recently stayed at a boutique hotel in Oxford and was very disappointed- perhaps that was due to my expectations though to be fair!.

Boutique hotels ask full payment 6 months ahead

I believe this is down to supply and demand as most things
If people are prepared to pay their bill in full 6 months ahead of the travel date, then the hotels will build on this and incorporate this into their policies and procedures
Obviously you're not the first to be asked and presumably their "testing" period is over - so there must have been a lot of travellers who think this is acceptable
I personally feel this is unacceptable but then I don't have a lot of money!!.
