What bag to take travelling?
I would say a wheeled option would be easier to transport. I suggest you buy a wheeled duffle since duffles tend to have more room than uprights, and also carry a backpack for your day trips. Check out this BRX rolling duffle. Its just ideal for the kind of trip youre going on extremely rugged and travel abuse resistant. Its a little more than 97 liters in capacity, so also meets your space requirements quite nicely..

Favorite Travel apps?
My iPhone is basically my lifeline while I'm traveling, and I like to have all the information I need (just in case). I'm getting ready for another big trip and wanted to refresh my iPhone apps before I leave.
To give you a good idea of what I'm looking for, here are a a few on my favores i like to use on the road:
[list:f1c3e1bf4e]LonelyPlanet - This app brings together all of the data from other travelers into really useful info, so I can use it while I'm out. Of course it's no substitute for these forums...
Google Maps - (self-explanatory)
Doc Keeper - Keeps safe copies of all my travel documents, including my passport and frequent flyer info, with me just in case I lose anything
TripIt - Helps me keep a working itinerary, and shares it with my friends+collegaues[/list:u:f1c3e1bf4e]
What are some of your favorite iPhone apps to use when you're traveling?.

SIM cards in Africa
Hi Mr and Mrs Warner,
You could go with a global SIM card which will work in all of these locations, and sign up for an account with MO-Call (mo-call.com). Basically what you can do is use the MO-Call network to carry out all your communication needs.
There's a 24-hour live-chat link on the MO-Call website which will connect you with a MO-Call customer service rep, and they'll be able to clarify with you exactly how you can make cheap calls while you're abroad in Africa.
Hope you'll find a solution that will fit your needs!.

The iPhone vs. HTC Hero vs. ?
Yes - in many ways I really cant see why anyone would use PAYG at the moment, some of the deals you get for contract are pretty nifty and thye upgrades make it worth while.

Moble sim card
As someone said earlier most UK cards can be used in Europe - The problem will be that your costs will be high whilst using away from the native country you brought it from. Roaming calls are a lot more expensive!.

Pacsafe portable anti-theft bag review
I'm going out of the country soon for a vacation to Fiji, NZ and Australia. I've been paranoid about my stuff getting stolen out of a hotel room or rental car.
After some online research I bought a Pacsafe brand "TravelSafe 100" for about $40. I'm able to stuff it with my wallet, compact Canon camera, two passports, battery charger 2.5" WD 500GB external hard drive, HP iPAQ HX4700 4" PDA and more.
It's pretty sweet. I highly recommend it. Here are some pictures of it.

Best Road Movie/Book?
Depends on what literature do you like in general. The last book I bought and read during my trip was this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/House-Spirits-Isabel-Allende/dp/0552995886/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8 and s=books and qid=1258046083 and sr=1-1 without to know whatever about the author but I have to say I read it without stopping for breath!!! The style is magical fantasy but also I recognize there some history and truth from the past..

Personally I have my 'iPhone 3G S' with me and that has 32gb on it, which is more than enough for anyone!!
Although if you're looking for a cheap one, then I would prob go for a nano and the new one does video!!.

Where do you hide your money ?
A 'friend' of mine used to use a money belt, it was strapped to him under his clothing, like a 'financial man-corset'!
We were in the US a while back and we bumped into the Miami Dolphin cheerleaders, I looked across to see him chatting to a couple of them, apprently they liked our English accents, but all I could think was if only they knew what was under that shirt!!.
