And for your dog, Sir?
Expect they can charge what they like as the dog wont complain, did the staff make you aware dogs are welcome , would not be a place I would choose unless I was bringing a dog.

Best places to gorge yourself in the US
There are some all-you-can-eat places that have steak/prime rib nights that are pretty insane to go to but you can eat eat eat! Typically called Golden Corral and has some typical American cuisine.
Haven't been to a place like since I was a child, but enjoy!.

Food in other countries
Hmm, where to start...
lambs testicles.....eaten them (for breakfast actually) (like salty grey blancmange)
pigs intestine stew.....had that
bath chaps.......had that (its rolled pig face, you can read about it on my blog)
sweet breads (also on my blog)
thorax......had it
pig head including snout, tongue and cheeks (cheeks are the best bit!)
chickens feet
lambs feet
I've pretty much eaten the lot! I would recommend it too!
Goat when cooked properly is amazing! Jamaican curried goat is really nice. mmmmm.
Look at a book called nose to tail eating by fergus henderson, it has a few eye opening but delicious recipes in it. His restaurant is pretty brilliant too in smithfield london.
Those are my top tips!

Favourite Southern African Food
More and more people are travelling to Southern Africa each year but one part of the culture people seem to know little about (compared to Asian or Indian regions for example) is the food.
Africa has some wonderful traditional dishes and I just wondered if anyone wanted to share their particular favourite dishes or restuarants.
My favourite dish from South Africa for example is Bobotie; a mix between meatloaf and moussaka its delicious!.

Which country has the best beer?
Also people trying to understand where is the best "pint"...and then I read talk of bottles and cans...the best "pint" is elusive but without doubt it is in places with local beers poured well kept at correct temperatures etc. Casque ales...so often countries have no understanding of how to keep and serve beer at the optimum level. I liken new countries ales again to new world wines. Heavy on the flavour and intense but without the subtlety and space to let the ales breath and flavour to come out naturally ....I don't want to be wacked in the face by a beer. There are beers for occasions and tastes of course but a good ale should be a drink that is moorish not a trial like a lot of the "new world beers".

Favorite herb that is easy to grow
Unfortunately haven't got a garden so my "gardening" has been limited to mustard and cress, grown on damp cotton wool on the windowsill when I was a kid..

Thai Dipping Sauce
Thanks , I have had the basic sauce without the the rice ground and roasted so I am going to give it a try tonight at my bbq. On the coriander don't waste the roots as that can be used for a marinade for the chicken or guess any meat / fish also add ground garlic and black pepper to the marinade know as the thai trinity.

Indian Non Veg Recipes
Mmmmmm, I have to say, I love ghee and thanks to this thread, I can not get naan off my mind. YUM!
I prefer the stewed goat curry dishes, but I can't remember the name. Good goat is hard to find though, some of it has such a strong flavor that it negatively impacts the dish..

Best seafood?
A great place to relax and think about the good ole day 's. You can certainly admire the Mississippi from its banks or from the top of a tall building, but the most fun of all is to take a boat ride on the river itself. It is very beautiful place in Baton Rouge. For get more information you can visit on URL deleted.

Anyone grow their own veg?
Sounds like you have had a good harvest Laz!
We got rid of our hens. It's great having fresh organic eggs every day but the downside is that it can be quite messy. We also got a nest of rats under the coop which wasn't the best thing in the world.
So yesterday I emptied the contents of the organic recycling bin on to the ground and rotivated it in. I went to the market and bought lots of seedlings; 100 onions, 20 brussel sprouts, 50 leeks and 20 coliflowers. I also bought a few bulbs of garlic especially for planting but ran out of space! I gave them to the neighbour for him to plant.
That should take us through to spring when I want to plant potatoes and carrots..
