Paris, Paris and one more time Paris! In some time I believe I will be able to afford it myself, but one always wants more. :wink: So Paris with all expenses paid is one thing never to refuse. Oh, and did I mention Paris? :D.

Do you prefer to stay at home???
Apartments and vacation homes are definitely way better than hotel rooms.
First, there is space to run around in a home - definitely more than a hotel room. And if you are in a villa or cottage with own garden then there are no limitations.
Second, everyone can have their own room.
Third, costs are low with a kitchen and a laundry - especially useful for families with young kids.
Most vacation homes also provide high chairs and baby cots at an additional cost.
And finally, but not the least, you get to take the all important member - your pet along. Just opt for a pet-friendly vacation rental!.

Good places for family holidays in the UK?

What makes London the best? Personally speaking, for very young children, I don't really think it is at all....

I carry my portable DVD, or the flight movies- Cartoons cartoons cartoons they love it and very quite.

Family Hollidays where to go?
Id like to recommend visiting Orlando which is also known as a family destination. The top places in Orlando which mostly attracts visitors are Aquatica Water Park, Walt Disney World Resort, SeaWorld Orlando, Universal Studios and Wet 'n Wild these places are famous especially in kids.
Im sure your kids would be more enjoy on that places. So visiting there and make your tour memorable with family..

Costa Rica - child friendly?
We loved Costa Rica. My son is fond of animals. He had a great time.
The scenary is stunning and it is very child friendly.

Beach destinations for kids?
We love Railay in Thailand. The beach is beautiful and nicely secluded and safe with kids. It is in the Krabi region.
At the moment we are travelling with our three kids in Vietnam. Heading to the beaches in Nha Trang, Mui and Phu Quoc.
We will put a travel blog on the muddyshoesguides website.

Thanks for the compliment. I too had the same thoughts about insurance and giving carte blanche to some one I do not know but later it dawned upon me that likewise they too have to contend with the same insecurities. So it is a mutual trust that happens by default and naturally people have some degree of respect for other peoples stuff.
Regarding insurance - well in SA insurance companies welcome house sitters. It makes burglaries almost non-existent. I suppose it will be seen in this light across the world as well..

Well, if he is interested in musicals, a visit to the Sydney Opera House would be a good idea. There would also be other interesting things for him to see in Australia. However, be warned as the country's climate might not what you wanted..

Suggesstion for a 4 day trip
u may go to lakshwadeep or andaman nicobar islands they r in the indian ocean,there are ferries that will take you till d island.the beaches are crystal clear and u can also do some adventure sports like diving etc

A very nice and informative thread. So how about the epic "are we there yet?" questions that kids ask every minute during the travel time. I think a list of punch lines for that question is needed in the list of tips in this thread. :lol:.
