Morocco – a new source of refreshing CoursesPosted by Abdelhay Elanbassi in Golf courses |

As the demand for golf of the erstwhile royals rises, Morocco sees a revival of its traditional yet modern forms of Courses and play. With a serious eyes
and a lop sided grin, I managed to grab some of the famous courses within my budget thanks to ‘Sahara Soul Travel’ agency which offered me an excellent package. After all, it just takes three hours for me to travel from London to reach here, every weekend I drop by in here that is the level of addiction you get with these courses. I had a private chauffer with a new minivan, my travel managers made my work very easier. While renowned golf courses like The Palmeraie Golf and Royal Golf attract much attention among Morocco’s visitors, The Royal Dar Es-Salam Golf Club near the heart of Morocco --lies for play. With courses embedded in nature to give you a drop into the serenity and tranquility these are the places you need to be. The shelf-like greens surrounded by daunting bunkers make every approach shot a high test of nerve, the superb Bermuda grass fairways, true, and a finishing hole at No.18 that must rank as one of the toughest finales in the world.
My play was made particularly interesting by the delicious quality of wine that is available here on these courses. The clubhouse is splendid - you feel pampered from the moment you arrive. There are excellent changing facilities, practice ground and greenery of the highest class, a swimming pool and superb cuisine.
The Royal Dar Es-Salam Golf Club was by and large, big and much more challenging for me. I am planning to have a lifetime membership with these people because of my penchant for golf and these wonderful courses, which are too lovely to miss. What more can I expect from these courses, which are as superb, and less crowded than the Portugal or Spanish courses.
