It is very near the Moroccan desert. (But, of course, there are other must see places in Morocco aside from this hotel, and there are places outside of Erfoud, which you should go to when you are on vacation in Morocco.)
Nevertheless, since Morocco tours would not be complete if you don’t take a few steps into the Morocco desert, staying at the Kasbah Hotel, then, becomes a must in your Morocco adventure travel list and your Morocco travel map.
I stayed there for three nights and I can honestly say that the hotel has full amenities. The room that I stayed in was nice and the food was a welcome diversion from traditional Moroccan food. The staff, too, offered very good service, and they arranged for sightseeing trips into the dessert. (Camel rides in the desert and four-wheel driving top Morocco travel information for desert experience.)
Some of my friends, however, advise against booking at this resort in the winter. Steve, who went there in January, was quite spooked that the hotel seemed like a deserted town when he stayed there. There was only he and his girlfriend aside from the hotel staff.
Nevertheless, with a pool and rooftop, we both agreed that the Kasbah Hotel is a happening place in the summer. I could certainly attest to it. The hotel is built luxuriously like a kasbah, with rooms around large patios, and large invitingly located beside the dining rooms. The rooms are designed with original and colorful special decorations. The best thing about the place though is that was clean when I stayed there, and there was hot water in the shower.
